You know how it is?

You've been collecting for years and you think you've seen & know about  (almost) everything.

And then................... something unexpected turns up.

Thanks to this chap who pointed it out.

It looks like just a normal Penelope box - same front, back, bottom & top................But then we get to the sides - pictured below.

Who reckons the artist on box A was:

1: Picasso?

2: Drunk?

3: Both?

Seriously though, Box type A I would reckon to be an early version, probably withdrawn in favour of Box type B - which is the more often seen version.

Anyone know for sure?
