Thunderbird 5 was produced in one version only –battery operated– but there are slightly different castings/ mouldings of the toy.

Battery powered motor causes arm to rotate inside the body & coloured lights to light as it does so, also causes ship to move in a “random” action.

Some versions have the Perspex dome glued in, others have it cast slightly different & attached to the body with screws.

The box originally contained 2 pieces of corrugated cardboard packing to keep the toy in place and a polythene bag containing THREE (3) antennae and a spare bulb - as pictured below.
